Who We Are

MGIS was established on 1st August 2012 in Mabellah South, Muscat. We uphold our more than 10-year progress and success focus on universal values, ethics, discipline, creativity and personality development in the initial years before shifting to academic achievement, leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and vocational and career progression key competencies during the secondary and high school years. MGIS is a Cambridge International School, registered in 2022, to offer education programmes from Cambridge Assessment International Education, part of the University of Cambridge. We are proud to be part of the world’s largest international community of schools, preparing students for life with Cambridge qualifications that universities and employers worldwide value. Our Curriculum

Modern Generation Nursery

We offer a wide range of programmes tailored to meet the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Each programme fosters growth across all areas of a young child’s development.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten offers a dynamic, play-based learning environment that fosters cognitive, emotional, and social development through sensory experiences and creative activities in both English and Arabic. Children explore science, mathematics, Islamic studies, arts and crafts, and music, making learning fun and meaningful to encourage confident, lifelong learners.

Primary Years Program (Grade 1 to 4)

Cambridge Primary Years Program for grades 1-4, focusing on reading and writing skills to provide a solid foundational education, covering subjects like English, Arabic, Mathematics, Science, Islamic studies, ICT, Global Perspective, Physical Education, Arts, and Music.

Lower Secondary School Program (Grade 5 to 8)

Grades 5 to 8 curriculum integrates the Primary Years Program and the Cambridge Checkpoint program to enhance academic skills and prepare students for secondary education, covering subjects like English, Arabic, Mathematics, Science, Islamic studies, ICT, Global Perspective, Physical Education, Arts, and Music.

Upper Secondary School Program (Grade 9 to 10)

For Grades 9 and 10, we offer a two-year Cambridge IGCSE program focusing on subject understanding and skills-based learning. Students in Grade 10 can choose between the Ministry of Education Oman Bilingual or Cambridge's IGCSE curriculum, preparing them for international or government exams.

Cambridge Advanced / High School G.Ed (MOE) Program (Grade 11 & 12)

In Grades 11 and 12, students select advanced subjects aligned with their interests and future education goals through university-preparatory bundles meeting Cambridge Assessment International Education standards. They can pursue either the Cambridge AS level or the Ministry of Education Oman bilingual curriculum.
